What is GMS™
We’d all like to think that our actions and reactions are a result of logical thought process but this is far from the truth. Suggestion influences our thinking far more than logic itself, consciously or unconsciously our thinking is influenced by our past conditioning and experiences and attitudes
GMS™ is quite simple. Through meditation, the unconscious enters into a deeper state of suggestibility. Once in this state, the instructor uses suggestion to influence emotional, behavioral & cognitive change that falls in line with the client’s personal goals.
The GMS™ technique draws influence from a range of theories and combines them. The theories involved include:
What To Expect
In a Session
you will be assigned an instructor the session will be anonymous meaning no video only voice.
- You will go over your expectation and goals with the instructor
- You will be guided into a meditative state of relaxation for higher suggestibility
Often sessions will begin with a discussion between you and the instructor. You will talk about what it is you’re after, your problem and what you’d like to gain from GMS™. Together you’ll look at the issue, how you experience it and how it affects your life. Next, you’ll work towards a personal programme, tailored to you and your individual experience.
The number of sessions you need will depend on you and your situation. You may get what you need after just one session, while others may need three, four, six or 10 sessions.
You will also be given tasks to complete at home, between sessions.
You will be taught self techniques, to help you continue treatment outside of sessions and long after treatment is over.
